Places you can find me:
Places I came from:
I grew up in Alberta in the Kananaskis Valley at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. I started doing animation when I was very young, after an episode of Mr DressUp introduced me to the concept of simple flipbooks. By elementary school I was being commissioned by my classmates to make dirty pictures move. It wasn't long before my Dad, an inventor, had me in front of his computer using Autodesk Animator. My Mom, a painter, shared with me everything she knows about design, form, colour, theory and composition. They were my best teachers and my strongest critics. After a few years as the Film & Television Post Production & Editor Workstudy at the Banff Centre, I moved into the Animation Workstudy position and then eventually built up enough experience to venture off on my own.
I now live in Montreal, Quebec, running a small studio "e.d.Films" working on a variety of cultural films for the NFB, Nunavut Film, APTN and the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation, as well as educational animation projects for The Science Alberta Foundation. We am always open to collaborate on imaginative projects that come our way.
Whenever I can, I piece away at my own film... I hope to finish it one day.
Below are just some of the film projects I have been involved in:
